Svåheia Eiendom AS (SEAS) is a private company, owned by three local municipalities in the South-West of Norway, which specializes in active ownership and development of commercial real estate. At present, Svaaheia is a well-established industrial area with offices, waste handling facilities, a landfill, and windmills. Through the process of creating a business park and collaborating with organizations on and off site, SEAS has developed strong competencies in the fields of research and analysis, project commercialisation and business development, and sustainable management and processing of resources. SEAS invite and establish innovative companies in the area and through active ownership of the property provide services such as financing, network utilization, and collaboratively develop technologies and symbiotic business solutions. Ongoing developments at Svaaheia include the Horizon Europe-funded waste-to-energy project CARBIOW (Carbon Negative Biofuels from Organic Waste), the DUT Partnership project COPPER, and strategic business and regulatory activities that aims to make SEAS uniquely qualified for future projects and collaborations.
