Gollenes AS

Gollenes AS is a fishing company based in Fosnavåg, Møre og Romsdal, owned by the Ose and Kvalsvik families. The company was established in the 1950s and has since specialized in combined trawling, both pelagic fishing for herring and mackerel, as well as industrial fishing combined with whitefish for consumption. In April 2023, Gollenes AS received its third newbuild, a 69.99-meter long trawler built at Karstensens Skibsværft in Denmark. This vessel replaced an earlier trawler with the same name from 2011. The new trawler is designed to optimize working conditions, safety, and comfort for the crew, as well as to reduce fuel consumption and emissions through innovative and efficient solutions. In March 2024, the newly built Gollenes was honored with the prestigious "Best Large Trawler" award by the renowned Baird Maritime.
