NOKA AS was established in 1973 as an engineering firm specialising in water treatment. Today we are one of Norway's leading water treatment companies. Our main area of specialisation has always been the treatment of drinking water, with particular focus on membrane filters, alkalisation and disinfection. The use of UV as an alternative to chlorination for disinfection of drinking water was introduced in Norway by NOKA as early as 1974. Accordingly, we can justifiably claim to have pioneered UV technology in Norway. Since 1995, we have also delivered a large number of membrane filtration systems. Most of these are based on NF (nanofiltration). In 2007, we put Norway's first ultrafiltration (UF) treatment plant into operation. Rather than supplying a fixed range of products and standardised equipment, we prefer to offer our customers complete, tailormade systems, in other words: Solutions to water quality problems. Our goal is to continue developing our business to become the most advanced in terms of water treatment technology in Norway. At the same time, we will endeavour to remain market-oriented - in terms both of our level of service and price. Central to our strategy and vision is the delivery of crystal clear water as widely as possible, using the purification technology at our disposal. Our aim is to be known for having customers that are as satisifed with our technical solutions as with the experience of working with us.
