Norwegian Wood Cluster SA was established in 2017 and consists of leading industrial enterprises and R&D institutions within the forest, industry and construction value chain. The cluster's 36 members have over 15,000 employees and a turnover of over NOK 25 billion, and the cluster is growing. Through closer cooperation, the cluster participants want to further develop wood-based, industrial and sustainable building solutions. The Norwegian Wood Cluster is included in Norway's national program for business clusters, Norwegian Innovation Clusters. Focus areas for the cluster are innovation, digitalisation, skills development, industrialisation, sustainability and profitability
