Perecon AS aims to be the preferred partner to resolve subsurface challenges. The work is done to the highest ethical standards and in a time- and cost-efficient way. Perecon AS was founded in 2008 during the start of the financial crisis. The company started as a consultancy company for the oil and gas industry providing specialist services within subsurface technology. In 2012, the focus was shifted towards software and technology development, and the main office in Solheimsviken, downtown Bergen, was opened. Since then the portfolio of projects has been shared between about 50% consultancy work and 50% technology development with a growing focus on research and innovation. The company has specialist competence in the subsurface disciplines ranging from geology to reservoir engineering with special focus on a dynamic and holistic understanding of the reservoir. Services include the whole value chain from exploration, development solutions, production optimization, and extension of field life.
