Yggdrasil is a specialist company, providing flow assurance and production optimization services to the upstream oil and gas industry. With our proprietary software application METTE we can effectively solve a vast variety of thermo-hydraulic problems associated with oil and gas production. METTE is applicable within the full life-of-field chain, from exploration through field development, to daily production. The functionality within METTE includes: - Network optimization simulations - Well and flow line capacity calculations - Transient simulations - Virtual metering - Log interpretations Yggdrasil was founded in 1992 as a provider of consultancy work for the oil and gas industry. Development of METTE began in 2003. METTE has since then obtained a proven track record with extensive use on large field developments like Draupne, Shtokman and Ormen Lange. Development of our software is a continuous process and we respond quickly to customers’ needs by adding new functionality. Our office is located in the outskirts of Oslo, Norway, but we have further workplaces well beyond national borders.
