Matsentralen Vestland

Matsentralen Vestland ble stiftet i 2017 og holder til på Toppe i Åsane. Gjennom å omfordele overskuddsmat fra matbransjen til ideelle organisasjoner som hjelper sårbare mennesker i samfunnet, bidrar vi til redusert matsvinn og en bedre hverdag for mennesker i store deler av Vestland. I tillegg til matutdeling har Matsentralen Vestland et skoleprosjekt, Matreddeskolen, som er et svært etterspurt supplement til skolenes undervisning om bærekraft. I samarbeid med nærmere 70 ideelle organisasjoner, og mer enn 50 ulike bidragsytere i matbransjen omfordeler Matsentralen Vestland stadig mer mat. Dessverre opplever vi at behovet for mathjelp er økende, og vi søker derfor stadig nye samarbeidspartnere som vil donere sin overskuddsmat. Med god hjelp av frivillige og ulike støttespillere står vi på hver eneste dag for å gi mat, mennesker og miljø en ny sjanse.

The cluster has evolved into an exciting international environment with Vizrt, Vimond, Fonn Group, Highsoft, TV 2, NRK, Schibsted (BT) and The University of Bergen (Dept. of Information Science and Media Studies) as key players. Large parts of the cluster are located in Media City Bergen™, a leading, international hub for media and technology innovation, with MCB Media Lab forming the core of the innovation and research projects for the cluster and cluster partners. The Norwegian media cluster, headquartered in Bergen, currently represents 100 members, including six universities/research facilities.

ROS – Rådgivning om spiseforstyrrelser er en landsdekkende interesseorganisasjon for alle som er berørt av problematikk rundt mat og kropp – for de som har eller har hatt en spiseforstyrrelse, og for deres pårørende. ROS tilbyr gratis støtte, råd og veiledning for de som sliter med en spiseforstyrrelse eller -problematikk. Pårørende er også velkomne til å ta kontakt med oss. Vår rådgivningstjeneste er tilgjengelig på telefon, chat og e-post. Ved våre lokale sentre i Vestland, Rogaland, Trøndelag og Oslo/Akershus er det også mulig å komme til individuelle samtaler med en rådgiver. Du trenger ingen henvisning. ROS arrangerer en rekke ulike temakvelder, kurs, grupper og andre aktiviteter som kan bidra positivt i en vanskelig hverdag, og i en tilfriskningsprosess som ofte kan være langvarig. I tillegg arbeider vi for å • spre informasjon om spiseforstyrrelser • fremme brukerstemmen • ha fokus på forebyggende virksomhet blant ungdom • påvirke holdninger til kropp og utseende ROS retter seg mot alle miljøer: Treningssenterbransjen, idretten, skoler/utdanningsinstitusjoner, helsevesenet, arbeidsgivere og alle andre som har behov for råd og/eller støtte. ROS jobber med og ut fra et brukerperspektiv, noe vi anser som selve grunnlaget for vår virksomhet. Vi mener erfaringsbasert kunnskap er essensielt i forebyggingsarbeid, opplysningsarbeid og tilfriskningsarbeid. Egenerfaring kombinert med faglig kunnskap utgjør ROS sin unike kompetanse.
