We are an independent ship designer from Kristiansund founded in 2003 by employees at Sterkoder shipyard. In 2021 we are 20 employees working from Norway, and with a long-term collaboration with De Naval in Croatia. This enables us to manage ship projects with detail engineering and complete production drawings in newbuild projects in house. Møre Maritime develops ship designs with our clients, and adapt the design to the requirements for each vessel. We have extensive experience with innovative markets, and we plan for future requirements in our designs. Our current main market is Aquaculture, and we have delivered designs to this market since 2012. Our employees are specialized in project management, hull design, strength analysis, stability, hull engineering, piping, arrangements, detail engineering, and we lead the approval process of the ship design towards authorities and Class. Møre Maritime facilitates a closed tender with selected shipyards before the building yard is selected, and we assist the owner in finding suitable yards for the project. This enables a real competition in the pricing of the vessel. We have experience working with yards and ship owners in several countries, and we have systems ensuring a safe and efficient project performance.
