Med ti års erfaring fra kokkelandslaget og som daglig leder av flere konditori, så han mulighetene og potensialet i en helt ny type serveringssted. Jordbærpikene skulle trekke gatekaféen inn i kjøpesenteret, fylle tomrommet mellom bakeri og hamburgersteder og gi gjestene en opplevelse utover det vanlige. Den første Jordbærpikene åpnet på kjøpesenteret Byhaven i Trondheim. Konseptet ble raskt en suksess, og i dag finnes Jordbærpikene på over 40 kjøpesenter over hele landet. Alle kaféer drives av dyktige caféeiere som har fokus på gjestene, kvalitet på maten og god service. I 2018 ble vi en del av konsernet Bitastad AS som erverver og utvikler serveringskonsepter med stort markedspotensial. I tillegg til Jordbærpikene eier Bitastad serveringskonseptene Big Bite, Sabrura, SOT bar & burger og distributøren Matmegleren.
