Norwegian Wood Cluster SA was established in 2017 and consists of leading industrial enterprises and R&D institutions within the forest, industry and construction value chain. The cluster's 36 members have over 15,000 employees and a turnover of over NOK 25 billion, and the cluster is growing. Through closer cooperation, the cluster participants want to further develop wood-based, industrial and sustainable building solutions. The Norwegian Wood Cluster is included in Norway's national program for business clusters, Norwegian Innovation Clusters.
